Setting a course for adventure!

By Saul - February 12th, 2008 (14 Comments)

Remember that little blog post about us getting in an RV and driving across ½ ways across the USA so we could meet a bunch of our beautiful FreshBooks customers?

Well, the RV is booked, the route is planned and most of the details are finalized….the only thing really left to do is get my MRV (Masters of Recreational Vehicles)

Confused?

After making our RV reservation I was instructed to watch three orientation videos on RV operation and I had no idea it was so technical. I’m a pretty smart guy, but even with my superior intellect I found myself stopping the video every now and then to jot down some notes!

Get the Flash Player to see this player.

So after watching this three times (and that is just part one of three) I am still curious about a few things:

Anywhoo…I now feel confident to be the “Captain” of this boat and am looking forward to setting sale on the open road.

The trip begins on February 28th but you can start following the adventure right here!

    LOL … It’s the Canadian invasion …

No Rochester (NY) either … oh ya, it’s just as cold here as it is on your side of the Lake.

Enjoy the trip guys … from your dates and events posted looks like you’ll be on the road most of the time.

Smart staying over in West Palm and Orlando, but your March 3rd doesn’t look like much fun. Not because of the locations, but because of the thin travel allotment.

    Good luck and enjoy …

Cool! Can’t wait to meet you guys :) I have a feeling that 9v battery might be for the smoke alarm.

    Enjoy the trip!

    Guys,
I live in Ft. Myers FL, but I guess you will not be making it to this side of the state…to bad…we have spring training for the Twins and the Red Sox here, and we could have gone to a game together…how fun :)

Maybe we even could have had a tailgate party with your 80% full propane tank…. 80% almost fully cooked hotdogs for EVERYBODY.

    Wishing you were here

Saul, after watching that video I am afraid for you. Being in that RV would feel like sitting on a powder keg! I now respect the power of the RV. And with great power comes great responsibility.

Hey, I’ll be at BarCamp and FOWA in Miami, and in the Palm Beach area on the 1st. I look forward to meeting some of the Freshbooks team on one of those days.

A 9-volt battery and some steel wool is my favorite way of starting a campfire. ;)
